More and more companies are looking for good energy savings when they look at outdoor floodlighting. Up until the last year or so there hasn't been a great choice of useful solar powered flood lights but due to the demand and cost savings overall with electricity it makes sense to look at the Solar floodlight option.

The three we are using in our blog give a reasonable amount of illumination and two of them offer a choice of wattages and all are ideal for commercial projects such as small car parking spaces and outside commercial properties.  They can be used for domestic dwellings too especially for security purposes.

They are the Pro Solar HIWay. It is a 15w solar light with a PIR sensor and gives out a good 1600 lumens. It remains at 50% brightness for the first 5 hours and then operates at full brightness when motion is detected and this saves on the Solar panel's power supply.  It works up to 8 metres.

The Pro Solar Lumelux comes in 25w, 60w or 120w. In a black finish with a die cast aluminium alloy construction and comes with a remote control.

Finally, The Pro Solar Sollux again in black with the same wattage choices and also a choice of ground spike.
