Description of goods

The quantity and description of the goods will be as set out in our quotation or order confirmation.

All samples, drawings descriptive matter, technical specifications, measurements and advertising issued by us and any descriptions dimensions or illustrations contained on the website or via publications such as social media may be subject to alteration by us at any time without prior notice to you and area issued or published for the sole purpose of giving an approximate idea of the goods described. We will not be liable to you for any errors or otherwise on the website or through any publication.

Supply of goods

All goods supplied by Exterior Lights UK Ltd are sold upon the following conditions. The placing of an order and payment for any such goods on the website. All descriptions, illustrations, drawings, dimensions, weights, measures, specifications, standard of performance or other descriptive matter or pre-contractual statements are approximate only and shall not form part of the contract. Our record of any order placed by you verbally shall be conclusive as to the type and quantity of product and the point and date of delivery.

Validity

All orders placed on the website are subject to validity checks and upon successful order submissions will be subject to confirmation by Exterior Lights UK Ltd at the time of acceptance. All goods are offered subject to their being available upon receipt of order, although verification of stock levels will be made after the order is placed, and stock levels will change daily dependent upon demand. This can affect delivery timescales.

Prices and discounts

All goods are sold subject to the prices and any relevant discounts ruling at the time of delivery. Exterior Lights UK Ltd, prices, discount rates and Conditions of Sale may be altered at any time without notice. All discounts and prices are calculated upon a ‘whole order’ or ‘majority’ of the order basis. If, when placing your order, you select only certain items or reduced quantities are specified, Exterior Lights UK Ltd must reserve the right to review the discounts and prices at which such orders are accepted.

Payment

Payment in full will be due at the time of placing the order, or within 30 days of the month end following the invoice month date if on account.

Termination

Exterior Lights UK Ltd may without prejudice to our other rights determine the contract or any unfulfilled part of it or withhold further deliveries or make partial deliveries if:

• You fail to make payment under this or any other contract between us;

• You purport to cancel or suspend, or commit any breach of, this or any other contract between us;

• You become insolvent or make any composition with your creditors or have a receiver appointed of all of any part of your undertaking or assets or go into liquidation (save for the purpose of Amalgamation or reconstruction) and we shall be entitled to recover from you all our loss including any loss of profit or loss on re-sale.

EEE (Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Compliance

 Under the EEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled  bin symbol.  We will not be liable for failure of any goods due to an installation of the goods which is not in accordance with all the laws and regulations of the relevant jurisdiction.
You agree that in accordance with regulations 9(2) and 36(2) of the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2006 (as amended from time to time) (the ‘WEEE Regulations”) the collection treatment recovery and environmentally sound disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment purchased from us will be your responsibility.
